Explore guideDescribe where assistance is needed
A Thailand location is the starting point for a case discussion, not a confirmation that a particular service is available there. Tell Takecare Medical Group the province, town or island and whether the enquiry concerns a deceased person or a living patient. If the exact location is uncertain, explain what you know and who can confirm it.
A place name alone cannot establish collection access, the appropriate provider, transport suitability or the complete route. The purpose of this page is to help you prepare the practical information needed to check those questions. It does not claim offices, local teams or guaranteed operations throughout Thailand. Availability and scope must be established for the actual circumstances.
Use the location guides above to focus your questions on the starting area. They explain practical differences between cities, airports, coastal access and island handovers. Then return to this checklist to record the exact facility, responsible contact and intended destination. The provider and scope for a particular journey are confirmed through the individual enquiry.
Move from a general area to a verified starting point
An initial enquiry may use a familiar town name, but a proposed arrangement eventually needs a precise starting point. Identify the official facility name or verified address and the person who can confirm access. A hospital group may have more than one location, and a nickname or translated name can be ambiguous. Say when a detail has not yet been checked.
For an agreed collection discussion, ask which entrance, department or handover point is relevant and who controls that access. An address found online should not substitute for confirmation from the facility or responsible contact. Establishing the correct starting point helps prevent a plan being built around the wrong building, branch or collection responsibility.
For a patient in hospital or another care setting
Explain the current care setting and whether the intended move is to another hospital, an airport or a different care arrangement. Identify the treating contact or hospital liaison person if one has been appointed. The medical team and proposed transport reviewers need the relevant information to consider the journey; the family does not need to specify a vehicle or clinical crew in the first enquiry.
Ask how collection would fit with discharge or transfer arrangements and how care responsibility would pass between the relevant professionals. A location’s proximity to an airport does not establish that the patient is ready to move or that a particular itinerary is suitable. The receiving stage needs consideration alongside departure.
For a deceased person at a facility
Identify the facility or responsible organization currently involved and the known status of release. Distinguish the location where the death occurred from the place where the deceased is now held, as these may not be the same. Explain who is authorized to discuss arrangements and whether a funeral director, insurer or consular contact is already involved.
The family can also describe whether it is considering return of the body, cremation or transport of ashes. Those choices may still be undecided. Ask which official steps or permissions affect collection before treating a proposed location and time as settled. A family’s wish to proceed does not itself establish release or access authorization.
Consider connections beyond the starting town
A journey from an island, a coastal location or an inland area may involve several proposed stages before an international departure. Ask which practical connections are being considered and whether each has been checked for the case. Do not assume that the nearest passenger airport necessarily supplies the appropriate routing, handling or medical arrangements for the requested movement.
For any proposed ground or connecting stage, clarify the start and end points, responsible provider and handover. If weather, schedules or access changes affect the plan, ask how alternatives would be assessed and communicated. These are planning questions to resolve with the actual providers, not evidence that a particular route or transport method is automatically available.
Identify local contacts and access constraints
A practical brief should state who can answer questions at the starting location. That might be a facility contact, professional case handler or authorized relative. Explain any known appointment or access arrangements, but distinguish verified instructions from assumptions. Ask what the collecting provider would need to know before attending, once a service has been accepted.
If language, building access or another practical issue may affect communication, describe the issue directly without assuming that a particular support service is included. For a patient, clinical handling requirements must come from the relevant professionals. For a deceased person, the responsible facility and authority determine what is required for release and collection.
Review timing and cost in relation to the actual location
The starting location can affect the proposed scope, but a general distance estimate is not a complete quotation. Ask whether collection, intermediate movement, waiting arrangements and onward transport are included or excluded. If an alternative departure point is proposed, understand how it changes the journey rather than comparing only the main flight or vehicle charge.
Explain any preferred timing and who has set it. A facility’s proposed handover, a family’s arrival and a carrier’s departure need to fit together. Ask which time is provisional and which has been confirmed. Where a step depends on another organization, identify the responsible contact and the information needed before firmer commitments can be made.
Start even if the location information is incomplete
You can make an initial enquiry with the nearest known town and a clear explanation of what remains uncertain. Ask the person currently at the location, the responsible facility or the existing professional contact to help verify details through an appropriate route. Avoid forwarding private documents merely to establish an address when a non-sensitive description would answer the question.
WhatsApp Takecare Medical Group at +66 95 073 5550 for 24/7 assistance with the enquiry. Begin with the assistance category and general starting point, then explain the intended destination if known. The next step is to establish what can be assessed and what facts must be confirmed before an individual proposal can be developed.
Questions you may have
Does a location enquiry confirm that you have an office there?
No. This page explains how to discuss assistance at a starting location. It does not represent an office directory or a list of guaranteed local operations. Ask about the proposed provider arrangements and case-specific availability rather than assuming a place name establishes a permanent team or reserved resource.
What if the patient or deceased has moved since our first message?
Tell the coordinator promptly and identify the new verified location, responsible contact and any change in the intended scope. A proposal based on an earlier collection point may need revision. Make the correction explicit so the old address or facility is not retained as though it still applies.
